As someone who has worked on both the parish and Archdiocesan levels, I was responsible for planning and organizing hundreds of events over the years – from parish missions, retreats, and workshops, to arena-sized Diocesan Conferences.

I quickly realized that a major factor in determining the success of an event came down to the quality of the speakers. If they hit it out of the park, we had a great event. If they didn’t, well … we had a not-so-great event.
